The scenes and trailer show parts of the pilot episode of a project of a TV animation series. The project is called "Monday First" and the pilot "The Alignment Of The Stars". This is a project I'm working on for quite some time and somehow combines most the areas I'm professionally trained in (graphics, editing ..etc.) and also some of my hobbies (writing and composing). One way or another I ended up doing everything by myself, mostly because of my location (Bucharest, Romania) and limited financial resources (I'm a average family guy with bills to pay).
Once the script, characters and overall concept was done it was just my incredible luck to get the help of the amazing talented actors you hear and move this a tremendous step forward:
First of all Michele Santopietro (an accomplished actress who among many other roles played Jojo Palmice in the Sopranos.....wow, like I said before I was lucky) who does all the female and kids voices and also proved to be one of the nicest people I've met in quite a while. She's been of such great help and support and gave me hope this would eventually work.
J.S. Gilbert who does all the male voices and the trailer voice (J.S. is a very experienced and talented voice over actor with hundreds of voice over projects under his belt) and last but definitely not least
Jon Thomas (an also very talented actor who does a superb interpretation of Virgil).
I cannot stress enough how much these talented actors did, how nice they were and how impressed and thankful I am of their great interpretations and profesionalism.
Of great support was (is and hopefully will be) also my lifelong friend, Alex Goldgraber, who coached/coaches me with sound and sometimes merciless professional advice. He helped me pick up this thing after dropping it for more than a year.
So there you have it: the credits and the story of this project which actually boils down to: talented actors, great friends and hundreds man hours, done by only one man. |

They say "it doesn't matter what you know but who you know", well, at this point I know you, reading this right now. If you enjoyed watching this I would greatly appreciate your help spreading the word about this and turning this project into a real TV show.
Whether you liked it, hated it or own a TV network, I'll be more than happy to read your feedback at
mihai@mondayfirst.com
If you hated it please please please, before being too harsh, bear in mind that I worked my guts out and did absolutely everything you see and hear by myself: script (I don't speak natively English), graphics, animation, music, editing...etc, even this simple webpage, and all that while working on my regular job and raising a family. |

I'm surprised and obliged that somebody read this so far.
I will finish by paraphrasing Tevye, from "Fiddler on the roof":
On one hand it was fun but ...... on the other, I could have simply watched TV
On one hand this could work out but.......on the other, who the hell cares about you and your stupid ideas
Either way I've done something with which I will terrorize my kids forever about putting your mind into something and then doing it :)
Thank you for your time
